Description

Introduction to Mechatronics Engineering as a discipline. Fundamentals of sensors, actuators and control systems. Engineering Design and tools (Engineering drawing, CAD, management basics).

This whole-year course serves as a foundation for the three professional years' training in Mechatronics engineering. It covers important topics of mechatronics systems in terms of mechatronics components, design, electronics and control.

Prerequisites

Subject to approval of the Dean of Engineering and Forestry.
