Description

This course is for those who have little or no previous knowledge of the French language. It provides students with a knowledge of basic grammatical structures and vocabulary, and an understanding of some everyday French social customs and non-verbal communication.

Learning Outcomes

As a student in this course you will develop skills in all four areas of the French language (reading, writing, speaking and listening), at a beginner's level. You will acquire sufficient grasp of structures and vocabulary to proceed to FREN 122.
