Description

This course allows students to utilize knowledge gained from the PGDipGIS/MGIS postgraduate courses within business, government and non-profit organisations wihile gaining career-related work experiences, exploring compatibility with specific careers and companies, and becoming more mature professionally. Sponsorship for internship positions may be available.

Prerequisites

Entry subject to the approval of the Programme Director, MGIS.  RP: Total of 0.5 EFTS at 400 level, including GISC401, GISC404 & GISC405, as well as enrolment in GISC402.

Restrictions

Subject to the approval of the MGIS Director against normal or previous employment.

Recommended Preparation

Total of 0.5 EFTS at 400 level, including GISC401, GISC404 & GISC405, as well as enrolment in GISC402.
