An introduction to the principles of electronic commerce and the development of commercial applications based on internet and World Wide Web technologies
INFO233 introduces the student to Electronic Commerce (e-Commerce) principles and practices covering Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business systems as well as the technological infrastructure necessary to support these systems. Practical application of concepts will be carried out in weekly labs involving the design and construction of business web sites. Included in the course will be discussion of legal and societal issues related to this important development in the field of Information Systems.
