Description

Honours Dissertation

This research-based course involves choosing an agreed legal research topic, completing a 1,200 word research proposal and writing a 12,000 word dissertation on that topic.

Learning Outcomes

  • At the completion of the course, students should be able to:
  • Choose a research topic;
  • Describe a research question and a research methodology;
  • Describe a particular legal problem and, if appropriate, the relevant law; and
  • Describe, evaluate and, if appropriate, formulate possible solutions to the legal problem identified.
