Honours Dissertation
This research-based course involves choosing an agreed legal research topic, completing a 1,200 word research proposal and writing a 12,000 word dissertation on that topic.
At the completion of the course, students should be able to:Choose a research topic;Describe a research question and a research methodology;Describe a particular legal problem and, if appropriate, the relevant law; andDescribe, evaluate and, if appropriate, formulate possible solutions to the legal problem identified.

Research proposal. Research dissertation 100%. The research proposal is assessed on a pass/fail basis and students must pass in order to pass the course.The assessment will be confirmed at the commencement of the course.
