Computational Methods
To gain understanding of the principles and applications of numerical methods. To be able to implement and use such methods To have an appreciation of error build-up, and stability issues. To enable students to use numerical methods to solve applied mathematical problems in science, engineering and elsewhere. To be able to know what type of numerical method to apply to a particular problem.
Subject to the approval of the Head of School.
Students must attend one activity from each section.
