Description

Business Law

The course will give participants an overview of selected areas of contract and business law relevant to the business environment.

Learning Outcomes

The objectives of the course are to provide participants with a knowledge of the content, and practical application, of aspects of:

New Zealand legal system
Contract law and special types of contract
Business Structures
Employment law

Prerequisites

Subject to approval of the Head of Department.

Assessment

The course assessment will be equally allocated as follows:

Project 1:  individual written assessment set by Matthew Barber (70%)
Project 2:  group oral presentation set by Annick Masselot (30%)

All projects are to be handed in to the MBA Administrator
