The application of financial techniques, tools and principles needed to assess the performance of projects and organisations and consider the economic viability of their ongoing success. A consideration of financial risk management and the process required to minimize such risks in different organisational settings.
The course focuses on understanding the purpose and tasks undertaken by finance and treasury managers in organisations. It looks at the ways organisations raise and utilise funding and provides the tools necessary to assess the potential and existing performance of projects and investments. It also takes a detailed look at how organisations manage financial risk.
