This course emphasises the development of the skills and knowledge required for successful managerial performance in diverse organisations. It focuses on topics such as developing self-awareness, creative problem-solving, supportive communication, the use of power and influence, motivation techniques, and managing conflict. The course uses active and interactive teaching methods and requires in-person engagement. During lecture times we will doing activities, simulations, group discussions, and other exercises to teach you about management skills and how to apply theory to real-life situations.
