This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to be a successful team leader in both face-to-face and virtual settings.
The overall objective of this course is to increase the effectiveness of participants as team leaders and members. By the end of the course you will:1. Know how to be a more effective team leader or member; 2. Have a sound understanding of the theory and research relating to team leadership and group dynamics, and be able to apply that understanding to a teambuilding intervention.3. Have learned and practised a wide range of interpersonal and group skills such as managing conflict, decision-making, communication, running meetings and team leadership.
