A listening-based course which covers a variety of topics on selected aspects of Western music. The course is for students who enjoy music and wish to increase their knowledge and interest, but do not wish to be involved in theoretical aspects.
This listening based course is designed for students who enjoy music and are keen to increase their knowledge and understanding of it. Works drawn from a variety of styles and periods to examine issues such as the nature of music and its place in society. No knowledge of music theory or notation is required.
