Special Topic: Neurobiology of Higher CognitionThe course will focus on the brain and its contributions to how we learn, navigate, generate goals, make decisions, and produce actions. We will consider how our personalities and genetics interact with these processes, and what brain areas contribute and are affected in diseases that cause cognitive deficits, e.g. dementias (i.e., Alzheimer's disease, behavioural variant fronto-temporal dementias), schizophrenia and movement disorders.
