Description

Diploma in Clinical Psychology Part Time

This course is restricted to the students selected for Clinical Training.

This seminar series complements the internship year (PGDipClinPsyc) and can be taken over two years (PSYC502) in those cases where a student is enrolled part-time in the internship year.  It consists of a weekly seminar on advanced topics in clinical psychology such as psychopharmacology, ethics and professionalism, codes of practice, and motivational interviewing as well as specialty workshops on bicultural training, neuropsychology, case formulation and paper referrals.  Student presentations are also included in the course structure.

Prerequisites

Subject to approval of the Head of Department.
