The course provides students in speech therapy with information related to developmental and acquired stuttering/kikiki, and cluttering. It focuses on the onset and development of stuttering, and the clinical management of children and adults with fluency disorders. This includes discussion of the assessment, measurement and evidence-based treatments of stuttering. The course also covers the impact of fluency disorders on the client and their whanau.
