This course focuses on understanding business practices and culture in an international context. Students will reflect on the similarities and differences between Aotearoa | New Zealand and host country business practices and culture and apply relevant theoretical frameworks and practical knowledge to undertake a project relating to a specific industry or opportunity in the host country. The course involves an international study tour and lectures delivered with a partner university, as well as business visits and immersion in the culture of these host organisations and countries.
(1) 60 points of which at least 30 points is from schedule V of the BCom including one of ECON104, ECON105, MGMT100 or MKTG100;(2) Subject to Associate Dean (Academic) approval.
