Calculus is the study of rates of change and is crucial to engineering. This course covers the foundations of calculus and algebra needed for further study in engineering mathematics, including algebra, differentiation, integration, trigonometry, and graphing. It will highlight links to applications in engineering and other contexts, alongside fostering the development of mathematical problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
