European Public Law

For New Zealand, understanding the workings of the world's biggest economy is crucial to the success of the state. This paper offers students the chance to examine the hidden wiring behind the European Union and its Member States. How are decisions taken in the EU? What chances to individuals have to influence them? What can the European Parliament do? Who exactly is in charge? Perhaps most importantly: what can people do if it all goes wrong?

Prerequisites

22 points of EURO at 200 level with a B pass OR 44 points of EURO at 200 level OR any 66 points from the Arts Schedule at 200 level
