This course examines how organisations manage risk and eSecurity associated with their information systems. Topics include management, analysis and application of secure e-Business systems including security policy and network management.
INFO333 IS NOT OFFERED IN 2021This course examines how organisations manage risk and eSecurity associated with their information systems. Topics include management, analysis and application of secure e-Business systems including security policy and network management.
By the end of this course the student should be able to:Have an understanding of the role and impact of IS risk and security management in modern firms. Design and apply key security and data management concepts, components, technologies and selection criteria associated with the use of IS in the modern firm. Develop an information security and disaster recovery policy.Discuss key issues associated with managing IS in the modern firm, including the security and ethical problems they pose.
This course will provide students with an opportunity to develop the Graduate Attributes specified below:
