Description

Every organisation, operating in either public or private sectors depends on materials or services from another organisation as no single organisation is self-sufficient. Therefore, procurement is one of the critical business functions of every organization. It ensures the effective and efficient purchase of materials/services from other organisations to meet customer demand. This course is designed to offer an overview of various activities involved in the procurement function. It covers topics such as category management; supplier evaluation, selection and development; strategic sourcing, negotiation, contract management, ethical and sustainable procurement and digital procurement.
