This course gives a systematic overview of the theories, frameworks and tools for leading innovation and change in organisations.
This course focuses on change that organizations go through. We focus on micro, meso and macro aspects of change. The course focusses on applying fundamental philosophical underpinnings of change management to real case study. During this course, students will be working with ZURU Company to develop solutions for one of the three challenges that the company set up.Please note: An Erskine Fellow is co-teaching the course in 2023 and therefore the content and delivery will differ from the course description. Understand and critically examine key concepts and theories in change management.Analyse and synthesise the factors that impact change within organizations globally.Critically apply the appropriate theory or concepts to a given change management challenge. Recommend appropriate change strategies based on an appropriate application of theory, or concept to a change management challenge.Demonstrate team problem-solving and professional presentation skills on change management issues. Write a clear, well-structured, professional analysis on change management challenge in an organisation.
