This course explores the concept of careers in a time of change. It looks at careers from both an individual and an organisational perspective. Consequently it is recommended for those wishing to pursue careers in Human Resource Management and for those who are interested in examining their own career paths.
This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the increasingly important role of career and diversity management in organizations. We study a range of career and diversity theories and also focus on how to implement career and diversity management programs. To illustrate the various theoretical perspectives we draw on guest lecturers. The course is recommended for those wishing to pursue careers in Human Resource Management or General Management and for those who are interested in examining their own career paths.
