Continuation of the study of Mechatronics Engineering as a discipline. Instrumentation and measurement techniques. In-depth and broad study of sensing techniques, supervisory control and data acquisition.
The course introduces students to sensors, instrumentation system error and analysis, instrumentation techniques, and instrumentation and control applications. Besides lectures, students will work in groups, design and build an instrumentation system to meet a set of measurement criteria. At the end of course, students will:• Understand and apply instrumentation and control techniques.• Apply instrumentation techniques learnt and knowledge from other courses to implement an integrated instrumentation system.
