Description

This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to be a successful team leader in both face-to-face and virtual settings.

The overall objective of this course is to increase the effectiveness of participants as team leaders and members.  By the end of the course you will:
1.Have developed your self-awareness of your own behaviour in group situations;
2.Have a conceptual understanding of the theory and research relating to teamwork and group dynamics, and be able to apply that understanding;
3.Have learned and practised a wide range of interpersonal and group skills such as managing conflict, decision-making, communication, running meetings and team leadership.

Learning Outcomes
