This course will build on the work of HLTH216 and HLTH226 and will provide the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required by students to work collaboratively in the mental health and addictions service sector. By the end of this course, students will be able to demonstrate foundational professional skills in mental health and addiction services, with a focus on assessment, goal setting and planning for recovery. Students will learn to critically reflect on their professional practice, apply ethical principles to their practice, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
