Description

This course provides a structured educational experience which is designed around students being actively engaged in a workplace environment. Students will implement a work plan and have an opportunity to put theory into practice.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

Plan, implement and evaluate an event, programme, or research project.

Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment following protocols and health and safety practice.

Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in a sport coaching work place environment.

Understand and apply reflective practice, identify personal areas needing improvement and develop strategies to improve the situation.

Critically analyse the sport coaching workplace or research setting.

Develop professional skills and confidence, assertiveness, and decision-making abilities in a sport coaching workplace or research environment.
